Looking for actress (age 30s - 40s) for short film
Our project is a reflection on the radical changes that shape our ways of cognition and being. Its working title is ‘Blue Trapezium’.
*This short film has been selected to be screened and exhibited at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam from March 22-24 as part of Gerrit Rietveld Academie's annual conference festival "What is happening to our brain?"

The narratives in ‘Blue Trapezium’ are set in a nowhere place. This setting evokes a brave new world informed by the discoveries of neuroscience and the quickly evolving “collisions” that occur in our networks. It is an elastic space characterised by the dynamics of deconstruction - a fragmented, endlessly shifting context. The characters inhabiting this environment find themselves transitioning between identities even as they draw towards a possible unitary centre, the genesis of a new collective consciousness. Their interactions reflect the energies of neutrons inside the brain, creating new pathways that are strengthened through repeated use, eliminating pathways that prove to be irrelevant.

Wat bieden wij?
As this is a student production, our budget has been set at around 100 euros by the curators of the event. Any other expenses are coming out of our own pockets.
We can pay for transportation, food, and any necessary costs during filming.
